The CBI landscape has been changing throughout the years, particularly in 2024. The new year will find a renovated set of prices and a more solid cooperation when it comes to monitoring and due diligence.

Mundo wants to dig deeper into the matter especially now that we've been hearing some news in Saint Kitts and Nevis regarding its program.

Invest in Saint Kitts and Nevis and the Caribbean: a safe bet

October finished with various news. Since day one, we've been committed to presenting the best economic migration options, which go beyond the Caribbean to countries like Panama.

Panama has shores over the Atlantic and the Pacific and is home to the famous Panama Canal, a key waterway and logistics point. This is why we were thrilled to find out that the minimum threshold for real estate investment was officially established at $300,000.

Towards the end of October, we received a new surprise regarding St Kitts real estate citizenship. One needs to only take a look at the residency and citizenship section to understand that the MOA was an important subject this year.

St Kitts citizenship cost was increased already last year to align with EU requirements especially when it comes to visa-free agreements between the governments.

Another pricing change was applied to several Caribbean countries in August after they all signed an MOA. Thus, St Kitts citizenship cost became the highest in the region with real estate reaching $400,000 against $350,000 or $250,000 in other islands.

St Kitts real estate citizenship becomes more accessible

A statutory rule was released on October 25th announcing several changes to the program. These types of news in Saint Kitts are excellent for investors and people looking for dual citizenship.

The announcement stated that there are development shares and condos available at $325,000 thus leaving the program aligned with the previous competitors which are Antigua and Barbuda and St. Lucia ($300,000).

Such a measure was taken to alleviate the impact of revenue decrease by 60%. Reliable sources indicate that the CBI revenue descended to 218 million Caribbean dollars in September.

It's interesting to note that the efforts to maintain a good standing before the EU seem to create harsher conditions and hence a decrease in applications.

News in Saint Kitts for dependents

The government’s intent to attract more applicants is also seen in dependent eligibility which has been expanded. While before the minimum age for parents was 65, now it has been established at 55. Furthermore, approved candidates now can add their newborn children for 7,500 dollars instead of $10,000.

Embrace this new opportunity: St Kitts real estate citizenship

Just as we thought things were getting harsher in the CBI world, we received this great news in Saint Kitts. In Panama, one month ago, we believed the Qualified Investor Visa would increase to $500,000 and we saw the St Kitts real estate citizenship as the most expensive one in the Caribbean.

Now things have changed in both cases and other countries are showing improvements as well. The end of 2024 seems a great time to bet on that second residency or citizenship that's pending on your plan.

Moreover, we can help you. As an advanced publication for nomad capitalists and perpetual travelers, we are committed to financial freedom and libertarian ideals. For this, second residency or citizenship is key, and St Kitts dual citizenship may be the right answer.

We have connections with lawyers, agents, and advisors in different parts of the world and this includes the five CBI countries in the Eastern Caribbean.
